Blogging as a Life Skill for Me…

Blogging as a Life Skill for Me…

What inclined, pushed, and fascinated me towards Blogging? How did I get motivated to do Blogging? These are the two of the questions I would like to answer broadly...

Firstly, I think that blogging allows one to be Creative! This is one of the things I have always loved about the blogging process.

It certainly helps one to improve writing ability. One thing that’s self-explanatory is that starting a blog has a huge impact on your ability to write.

Initially one might feel awkward and even slightly alien. But I think, as you get into the swing of writing, you’ll notice it getting easier. The words will flow with greater efficiency and you’ll develop a style that’s uniquely you.

Through writing often, I feel, you’ll also get a good idea of what people respond to. This stretches your creativity, helping you write more about what people love to read. And in turn, that translates into a larger audience.

Of course, there is an element of creative writing and the opportunity to explore different topics. But there’s also the aspect of problem-solving and coming up with different solutions (a skill a blogger always needs.)

Additionally, blogging lets you Express yourself Visually through custom themes, photography, layouts, and designs.

Secondly, it certainly helps one to have a Voice of Own. We can write about our passion, concerns, our learnings, and many more aspects. We can start to feel empowered about making a difference in the world and can help others understand them.

I also strongly believe that it is Purposeful and Productive. We know we can spend a lot of time playing around with things online. Whether it’s looking at social media, watching videos, gaming, there can be a lot of wasted time.

I feel that we all need downtime occasionally, but why not tap into this interest by doing something purposeful and productive online? Blogging allows one to socialize, consume content, create content, and have fun while learning and making a difference.

Additionally, I think that it helps one to Inspire your Audience in infinite ways. Being able to inspire an audience through writing is a satisfying feeling for me. It makes me want to do it even more. And when people respond to you in positive ways, you generate a portion of influence over them. One can really change the lives of people by giving a new dimension to life, isn’t it? Give it a thought.

Furthermore, for me, blogging was an effective way for me to Break out of my Shell. As an anxious introvert, I found it hard to put myself out there and allow my thoughts and ideas to be heard.

Blogging gave me a platform to shout from a way to confront my fear of being noticed. There are many other ways to use blogging to confront your fears. It can be used to overcome impostor syndrome and feelings of not being good enough. Writing about a topic you’re fearful of can be cathartic and help you work through those emotions.

In fact, many people use blogging as a way to aid in their struggles with mental health. This shows that a blog doesn’t always have to be a meticulously planned venture. Sometimes, it can just be a place to collect your thoughts.

Lastly, it certainly helps one to Meet New and Like-minded People. One thing that can’t be denied is that starting a blog exposes you to a huge community of new people. For each blog, there is a lively community to go with it.

I think that it will be easier to make friends since you share common interests. And, you’ll find blogging communities are not only welcoming but helpful to new bloggers too.

Hence, I am leaving you all with these thoughts of starting a blog of your own! What do you feel…?

  1. U inspired me. Even motivated. There were few sentences where I could connect my feelings. Though I am extrovert, yet at times I feel difficult to express, even i will be trying... Hope that one day comes soon. Gr8 job.
